Kane marks his century goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has lessened and he is prepared to discuss a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment halfway through the four-year agreement he signed when moving to from Tottenham Hotspur for a substantial fee in the offseason of 2023.
The experienced forward has accumulated an impressive 103 goals in 106 games for the German club, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga crown - which represented the initial important honor of his illustrious career.
Tottenham coach Thomas Frank has earlier mentioned that he would be pleased to see Kane come back to England, where he needs 48 goals to break Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring record of 260.
However, the England captain has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about going back home as he once was, and would definitely think about extending his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it relies on how the next year or so unfolds and what we achieve together. Right now, I would say we are in a excellent moment and I am not considering about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would perhaps say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different opportunities and different moments happen and things fall in place. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the quickest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, reaching the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a title had eluded him until he secured the German title last season.
Kane reveals that he was not sure how he would react after breaking his trophy wait, but now thinks it has made him motivated for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be tempting to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more motivation to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was intrigued in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to attain in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I challenged myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
